With a desire to help contribute to a greener and more sustainable future, project Chạm was born. At Chạm, we are guided by 4 basic values: Earth Care, People Care, Go Local, and Quality.

Our mats are made from natural grass and plant fibers that are biodegradable and biocompatible, meaning at the end of their lifecycle they will decompose right back into organic matter to feed the soil.

Chạm yoga mats yoga gives the feeling of a deeper connection and rootedness to nature, not to mention the wonderful nature scent of the plant fibers. For some, practicing on our mats is a return to the source, to the origin of yoga.

We also place a strong emphasis on local sourcing and production. Too often we overlook the amazing bounty sitting right in our backyard. Why import when you can produce locally to help build and sustain local communities?

Lastly, as practicing yogis, we are very conscious of producing mats that are not just natural, but functional. The mats need to do a job of yoga, and not just look nice. As such, we place huge emphasis and attention on making sure the mats have sufficient grip, thickness and size, in order to deliver a seamless yoga practice experience for anyone looking to transition from plastic mats.
